    Rally Equipment

    Found this while replacing the gas tank. Rally timer hookup. Any idea what it might have been connected to originally? Knowing the history, it's close to 40 years old.

    Early Haldas were mostly mechanical drives and only had electrical connections for lighting and even the Halda Rally Computer didn't use a connector of this type.

    Could it be a connector for a TSD style device ?

    I have never had occasion to use these type of instruments so I am only familiar with Halda type devices.

    This particular connection is for a Zeron rally computer. The Timewise website had a photo of a cable which revealed a name. The former owner verified it was a Zeron when I asked him. Earlier, I'd sent him the photos and he gave a short history but couldn't recall what it was called. He said they were very popular.

    Mystery solved.
