    FS: 1970 Porsche 911S 911/02 engine & gearbox

    Hi all,

Porsche 911S 1970 911/02 engine and gearbox for sale.

Bought this engine / transmission from a fellow member here, intending to find the original chassis or to put in a 912/6 project. Turns out that I need to spend more time/money on my '69S, so decided to put it back for sale.
Had everything cleaned/powder coated/ zink plated, (not overhauled!) not tried to test-run it yet, no compression as of yet, but both I can arrange in a local Porsche shop. Does turn over easily.
Furthermore I added a fairly complete 2,2 S MFI set up, including a core 009 MFI pump.

    Engine number: 911/02 6300400
    Gearbox number: 7102790

I am asking 18.5K euro (around 21.1K USD) plus shipping. Not sure where the market is as of right now.

Let me know what you guys think. I can imagine more info on compression/leak down/etc. is needed, but that will take some planning/ transport to the Porsche shop, so I will do that if there is serious interest.

PM replied: Yes I will sell engine seperate, price w/o gearbox would be 16.5k euro= around 18.8k USD.
Prefer not to sell gearbox first, since someone might prefer engine / gearbox together.
