Thread: Snap!

    Snap!

I've never been a car snob. This could get traction around here.

"We knew the 2017 Type R was good from our first experience on the less-than-perfect roads of Quebec, Canada. Here, though, are the headline facts from this instrumented test: Zero to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds, 1.02 g of lateral grip, and the ability to stop from 70 mph in a Porsche-like 142 feet—in a tweaked, front-wheel-drive commuter car with 61.8 percent of its 3111 pounds resting on the front wheels. So, yeah, extremely solid."

I would rather have a Subie. AWD ya know!

And a 3,000# Civic? Never thought I would see that. My buddy that is a Honda freak owning Hondas for years, had a newer Civic Si. Now has a Nissan.

Hey Tom, you ever find an "Ant Eater? I've been keeping an eye out locally, but nothing. They must have all gone to Mexico like the old stuff here goes....

But then there is Tractor House: https://www.tractorhouse.com/listing...788&mdlx=exact

I like the one with the duals front and rear!

I love my OLD cars but admire the Japanese manufacturers and the "giant slayer" chip on their shoulders. Reminds me of certain "little car company" (Porsche) way back when.
