This looks clean Prez. I'm in Dallas looking at mine with 4 broken studs. I popped the rivets to replace them, and am looking for blind rivet replacements. Is yours original or restored? Does anyone have a rivet source for these? Searching hasn't revealed them for me.

Not to hijack the thread, as this looks like a great engine grill...I thought about snagging it myself.....but you don't need to pop the rivets off the grill to replace broken studs. here is the trick I have used.

    1. Get a bolt that is the same size as the captured bolts used in the grill....just slightly longer.
    2. Get an elastic stop nut that fits the bolt.
    3. Slide the elastic stop nut into the space where the head of the captured bolt once resided
    4. put a little thread lock on the end of the new bolt and screw it into the now captured elastic stop nut.
    5. cut the head off of the bolt you just screwed into the now captured elastic stop nut...and walla ! you have new stud
    6. You can't see the captured elastic stop nut from outside the car just like you could not see the head of the original captured bolt
    7. The thread lock will keep the new stud from unscrewing itself from the now captured elastic stop nut when you put the new attaching nut on the newly made stud to secure the grill lid to the rear deck.
