NOS toolkit for what Porsche 911?

    Hello All,

A good budy of mine has this NOS toolkit.
The question is , this toolkit kit is for a Porsche 911 but what year?
My budy told me that it's a 73 2.7 Carrera RS or a 74 Carrera.
I saw the same toolkit in a 2.7 RS on Hemmings website....
    Maybe you can help.
    Have a great day.

I'd say mid 70s judging by spark plug socket without spring, tow hook (obviously for shorthood, missing its instruction tag), alternator wrench with pins instead of hook, yellow interchangeable screwdriver.

It's a mix. Angled wrench looks like 24mm alternator wrench for Carrera's with big alternator. 84-->. But early tools as well.

It's not 24 mm but 22 mm ... and not mixes tools because this toolkit is NOS.
    May be a 74' 2.7 Carrera.
I found pictures from 73' Carrera RS with the same toolkit for same by Hemmings.!!!
I also have the instructions Toi hood tag...see pictures.

Not MY 73 Carrera RS. No 22 double ended spanner but angled wrench instead. Hook tag has impact bumper illustration big clue to not 2.7 RS! Looks similar to a MY 74 British impact bumper kit I've got stashed away. That one definitely came from a European spec 74 Carrera and is different to my earlier original RS kit but was same in other 74 911 variants. I haven't looked at its contents for a while so some small details might be different. For example I don't remember the knurled edge to yellow screwdriver handle on mine but could be my memory.

If it is NOS still with the factory supplied Phoenix belt then showing the belt date code would certainly help identification of the likely period.
