    quick question.

what would the difference be on these correct wheels as opposed to the 6's and 7's from a 911SC?

    I haven't seen everything but I've seen a lot.

The only 6&7 x 15 wheels I've ever seen from the factory on 911SC's were cookie cutters.

And those were usually on Euro cars.

I must be mistaken. I have seen 7x15 and 8x15 on 911SC and 1984+ Carrera.
I assumed 6x15 and 7x15 were also available. But perhaps those widths are only in 16"?

    Yes you are.

    Please see post #4.

If you're asking what's the difference between my wheels and the later 15" Fuchs it's primarily the hole diameter for the center cap. 3 prong center caps don't fit the later version and of course the dates would be wrong.

Yes, a 74 and later alloy wheel can be told apart from Frank's wheels from a long way away if the center cap is removed.

    Ciao

    Jim
PS: I don't think a SC ever came with a 15 X 6 alloy wheel. They did come with 15 X 6 Cookie Cutters on the front, though.
