FS: 1963 356B Cabriolet, Low Miles, Solid

1963 356B Cabriolet, Low Miles, Solid

    Car is sold.

Sold to prominent Portland doctor when new. Matching numbers, Original Pans (battery floor replaced). Taken apart in 1974 for a repaint that finally happened last year in it's original Heron Gray. Stripped to bare metal from top to bottom on a rotisserie. Original Interior (new old stock factory carpets). New Old Stock factory soft top and headliner. When it was taken apart 40 years ago the owner purchased a new top, headliner & carpet set from Porsche. These parts were in boxes when I bought the car 10 years ago. Engine, transaxle, brakes & link pins all rebuilt. Hardtop included. Car was delivered with painted wheels which come with the car and are date matching. The Chrome Wheels that are on it are also the correct date. (Last picture shows it with original steel wheels.) Has dealer installed correct antenna, speakers and Blaupunkt Koln Signal Seek radio that was gone through. Has VDM Carrera 2 wood wheel installed, original VDM in very good condition is also included.

Having owned many Porsches since 1964, most were 356, this is a car that checks all the boxes. I can only go by the photos but suspect it would meet all of my expectations in person. What a nice looking 356. I was never a cabriolet fan (had eight speedsters) but with the hardtop and drum brakes etc , a great period 356. If you have never owned a 356, this is what it is all about.
