    Hangers rear/engine wall

    Hi all!

After having stripped the lightweight carpet I found out that someone has ripped off the hangers (I hope that's the correct word for it) where the rear-wall cover panel goes.

Are there any repro parts I could weld in or would I have to cut them by myself?

    thx in advance,
    Tom

    Tom -

Same on my Ltwt. I think that's the factory's way of saying nothing goes there.

They were removed by the factory on my T/R, the car had lightweight carpet instead of the usual parcel shelf and trim bar:

    thx guys for your replies.
Seems like your cars came as lightweights from factory. My 1970 2.2 S was (at least from the COA) M470 equipped. So I assume it originally had all the "E"-standard covers installed.
At some point later in time the then-owner decided to "upgrade" the car to a more race-like look and pop in some ltwt carpet. Of course for that reason the 4 upper "standers" and the 3 "hangers" on the back wall had to go.
Since I do want to get the car back to a M470 standard I need the fixation points to get the parcel shelf & trim bar properly installed.

Sadly those parts don't show-up on the parts catalogue. Even worse that I have no clue what they look like to have them rebuilt...

If it helps, I recently installed the interior in my 70-S and these attaching points seem identical to what I have

    Guyz, you are the best!
That was exactly the information I needed. I ordered with restauration parts. Let's see if their quality matches the pricing. I'll keep you posted.
    Have a nice week-end.

    Ivan,

PP221S is correct, but PP227 is the bracket on top of the parcel shelf where the l&r screwed-on brackets go. Just for the records.
