    1986 Porsche 944 turbo (951)

This is an excellent original Porsche with the rare pearl white/burgundy interior option. This color combination was only available in 1986…only 30 or so 951 are known to exist with this color combo. Comes with the original 7 and 8x16 fuchs alloy wheels, also only available in 1986. Options include: rear wiper, factory alarm, leather front seats, fuchs alloys, leather steering wheel, transmission cooler, air conditioning and sun roof. No accidents, no rust, California car for 25 years, Oregon car for the last 4 years, always garage kept, never abused with clean title.

This car runs and drives fantastic with a few tasteful modifications which I did during the last 4 years of my ownership. This Porsche has 3 inch “Lindsey Racing” exhaust and cat. delete. There is a pre-muffler installed and that can be easily swapped for a 50 state legal catalytic converter, also available from Lindsey. I had a stock muffler tip welded on so it is a “stealth” set up and looks factory original unless you have the car on a lift. The waste gate has shims and I’ve added a 944 turbo S DME (computer) from a 1989 and this car has a fresh turbo which is a little larger than stock (turbo S specifications).

Major tune, belts, vacuum lines, fuel lines etc. done when I got the car 4 years ago, a few thousand miles ago.

New Optima battery, front koni adjustable strut inserts, front end alignment and oil change with Brad Penn oil. Just this week I spent considerable time doing a concourse level detail which included the bottom of the car, wheel wells, suspension, transmission etc. and a hand waxing of the beautiful paint.

The air conditioner is all there but does not work, may just need a charge? The clock also does not work. Minor oil seepage from the oil pan seal, it is not bad enough that I felt compelled to have it fixed.

Very original car with original paint (front bumper is getting painted now, to deal with some scratches and rock chips). Please note the fantastic original interior, no cracks in dash or seats etc. This 951 comes with a pile of receipts, the original tool kit, jack, spare wheel, air pump, owner’s manual, warranty book, sunroof storage bag etc. The only deviations from original are the aforementioned engine and exhaust upgrades and an aftermarket Alpine stereo with AM/FM CD.

This car is in Portland Oregon, I’m the owner, a private party. I'm asking $13,500

I just picked the car up after having the front bumper repainted, it was repainted on the bottom and blended on top and it looks fantastic! The shop I use is amazing. That took care of some rock chips and a few small scratches! WP_20170818_009.jpg
