Max Hoffman Celebration NY Oct.1st 2017

Driven To America is an 'air cooled' Porsche celebration for Max Hoffman who distributed many of the Imported cars we know today back in the 50's-70's ending with BMW. Many of the models we praise and spend millions on today are the with the help of Max Hoffman including the Porsche Speedster, Mercedes Benz 300SL and the BMW 1600/02.

The Event is on the 155 acre Max Hoffman estate in Muttontown, NY on Long Island's Gold Coast. A large life size FLW showroom wall has been recreated for pictures including many never seen before Hoffman pics from the archives.

Open to all air cooled Porsche from Pre-A to 1998 993's.

Follow the link to the website for info and tickets.

Less than 3 weeks away. Registration looks great but we can use more early cars. It's a beautiful drive to the mansion on back roads to LI's great gold coast. Come join the celebration!

Regrettably I am no longer involved with this Event. Disappointed I will miss all of the great early cars I got to come. Especially the very early Pre A's. Lots of small details at the event that are all my ideas were executed that I am proud of. Should still be a good turnout. Good luck to all going!

    Cheers!
