    Solex carburetor throttle linkage stand color

    Anybody out there know of a good color match for the off white linkage stands?

    I used paint i had mixed for a 356 Super 90 fan shroud .

    I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "off white linkage stands" but I think the linkage pieces and the metal brackets holding them are all "silver" zinc or maybe cadmium plated.

    They are indeed painted grey. Don't have the RAL code handy but Super 90 fan shroud color sounds close. Here's a pair of originals. Including 50 year old grime.

    I matched the color by taking white & dropping in black until it matched. The OEM color does not appear to have any reds, yellows, greens, ocher, etc tints; just white with black. A light grey like the one shown in Frank's photo. You can get a tiny amount of paint (I used polyurethane) from your auto paint supply store without spending too much.
