    Blaupunkt Frankfurt bezel question..

    I would like to know what year(s) this style Frankfurt bezel is correct for. Thank you.

    It's correct for 69-73 I believe and I'm not an expert, however the frosted center bar makes it pretty rare. My understanding is that if you ordered the radio as a factory option, it came with the frosted center bar version. Dealer installed or aftermarket didn't have the frosted center bar, but rather a fully chromed version.

    Frosted center bar trim was installed from the front, the all chrome trim version was pushed through the back of the dash, so completely different application. Fully chromed version was used on earlier cars from the factory even the 356 and those cars had a larger dash opening to allow to push through from behind, nothing to do with aftermarket or dealer installed. Top one is a '71 radio with frosted trim bottom is a '65 radio with all chrome.

    Trying to install a Blaupunkt Frankfurt in my 69 911E.
    Just received the radio I bought from a member of the forum and it came with this chrome bezel :
