WTT: LWB Bilstein front strut knuckle/assembly Left

I was told in another thread this is a SWB piece, but it is SC. I cant edit the title of the post.... I will trade for....? Im looking to redo the suspension on my car, a 72. I have the SC rear already and the new front tie rods but everything else I'd like to redo. Would trade for whatever early 911 though? Thanks everyone!

I hope you haven't gotten rid of that thing.
The genius that told you the strut pictured is a SWB part is full of BS.
It is a 911SC LF strut.

    Regards

    Jim

I think it may be earlier than an SC as it seems to have the early wiper seal which sits inside the strut tube rather than the later seal which sits in the larger diameter end cap.

    Early Strut

    Later Strut

The end cap appears to be missing as does the insert.

It's definitely a later LWB strut as it takes the wedge bolt for balljoint rather than pinch style bolt.

I would be most concerned that someone may have attempted a camber mod or tried to straighten it. That blackened area looks like it was torched. Would highly recommend checking for straightness in a jig.

    Kris,
If you don't mind suffering the tariff ship it to me and I'll put it in the fixture for free.

At least you'll know whether it's straight.
