okay, with all of the originality scholars in this Registry, I know that someone can offer guidance ....

In 1967, did the fuel filler neck have an overflow or vent?

    or not?

    Mike, my '66 did.
Maybe when Porsche went to F.I. it changed?

My late 68MY (June/July 68 build) has the one without the overflow pipe.

I have a mid-1967 filler neck at home that I took off my '67 racecar. I think it's a the short neck, but without the pipe (thus unlike both of yours). I'll check it for you later. If you need it, I'd be willing to sell.

No over flow pipes on 68 and earlier cars.
