    1973 Original seatcovers or replaced

Are these seatcovers of a 8/72 911 E Sport Targa original 72/73 tan?
The structure looks different compared to my 72 Brown and 73 Black interiors.Name: IMG_1904.jpg

Just reallized that this Sportomatic was allready discussed here. The actual german seller replaced tires and heat exchangers and swapped lights to Euro, btw. And the AC was removed.

I'm no expert but the grain looks correct to me, but the color .... seems sun bleached. I also noticed the driver's eat cushion seems sitting up too tall, as if someone put additional foam under its cover.

Never-the-less, here's bump for your thread.

Dirk, if you have a 72 in brown and a 73 in black you probably are more qualified and able to compare this more than most.
The Targa seats look like factory covers but they dont appear to be the same 'tone' as the rear seat coverings which probably means that these front seats were not original to this car. The drivers seat needs work on the bolster so if the car is what you want I would not sweat the small stuff ,, M2CW

The seats AND door cards look recovered to my eyes.

Those seats look terrible to me. ;-) If you do buy the car and decide to sell the seats please let me know bc they would look much better in my Sepia brown car.
