Looking to trade a 1998 C2S for an early 911S

I am a collector of Vintage Porsches and am looking to add an early 911 to my collection. My 98 was bought from its original owner with only 18,000 miles and still has under 19,000 miles. It is in flawless condition with all original tools, air-pump, keys, books, window sticker. No door dings, curb rash, or scratches. The interior is also flawless and looks brand new. The C2S is the last of the air cooled and one of the most desirable of the 993 series. This is one of the finest in Ocean blue with Cashmere interior.

All of my cars are in concourse condition and I am only interested in an early 911 in equal condition. I am not interested in anything less than the finest examples. I value my 98 at approximately $175,000.00. It is stored in a climate controlled garage, covered, and charged at all times.
I can be reached at 917-825-0559 or sgrisanti@mclaughlinstern.com

    The photos are current and also included is my 59 356 Convertible D, 68 912, & 70 914-6.

    175k?

    How did you determine that?

Past sales, and premium added for the condition and mileage. All of my cars are at the highest level with regards to condition and care. They simply need to be seen and compared. There will never be another air-cooled Porsche and the wide-bodied 993 is destined to become one of the most desirable. I have been in the industry for most of my life and what many collectors and enthusiasts represent as "Mint" or flawless is generally far from either. My cars are all near flawless. Exceedingly enthusiastic on your part.

I saw an exceptional 20k mile TT recently for 200.

Best of luck to you. Hope you find a great car.

Why don't you sell your car first. $175k for such a fine example should be easy to get ?
Then you can have your pick of the litter

I'd tend to agree. Hagerty places your concours car at $139k. Good news is a concours 73E, for example, is $148k.

Just sold my 9K mile (also as perfect as your offering) 1997 C2S to a broker/collector I've done prior business with for $110K. Payment was immediate and car was picked up in a few days. Was it worth more...yes, it obviously was for my guy to have paid $110K and leave room on the table for himself, but no tire kicking, PPI hassle, potential buyers who would need to check with their wife or girlfriend (or both), or the bank, blah, blah, blah. If taking less for less hassle interests you, I'm happy to pass along to you my buyer if you want to PM me.
