Hmmm, sounds legit. Maybe coming from one of Frank Zappa's offspring?

Moonclerk is a legit company. My guess is that the ESR is using their platform to manage recurring payments but hasn't properly integrated the communication. Not exactly setting the tech standard around here!

Now we (ESR) did set up a reoccurring yearly auto-billing system June of '16 (so the auto-billing would have started 3 months ago for renewals) however there is an opt out if you want to pay yearly or by credit card or even by check....

And, I am told, we have sent a reminder of this auto-billing system with our renewal notices...

In our Vol. 27 No. 1 March '17 Spring issue of the ESSES John Dilger wrote in his editors column (Due Dilgerence)

If you joined or renewed your membership after June 1 of last year and did not opt out of the recurring membership plan, your membership will be automatically renewed on the same date as the original transaction. You will receive an email 2-3 days before the transaction notifying you of the upcoming charge to your credit card.

We did this for ease of renewals for you and for us.....

We're looking into this to see if it is in fact OUR prompt... or... who knows... but most likely from us

    Please stand by...

    THIS IS FROM US....

Our apologies for not wording the prompt so it sounded/looked/and was officially from us...

The renewal prompt is being re-worded for less confusion...

Apologies again... and thanks for your support...

Ok but it showed up as Early 911s Registry (Lower case "s") in my in box instead of normal email notification of Early 911S Registry (Upper case "S").

Understood Mike.... I trust the re-worked prompt will be more clear and 'official' looking...

    Thanks,
