    FS: Targa Top Release Handles

    These are original release handles for a targa top. The one on the right is excellent condition the one on the left needs a new pin shaft it is twisted. Price is $150 for the set.

    What's the verdict on repairing these pins? Welding rod tacked in?

    i would say welding rod material is to soft .

    I have heard drill bit material and is available in many size diameters.

    All of this discussion about welding rod, pins, and drill bits is very interesting. In the meantime I'd like to buy them Mike.

    BTW: Drill bit won't work; the pin is 2 different diameters.
