    72 front cooler pipes

Porsche offers the brass oil pipes to the front cooler black painted or dipped.

To my knowledge they changed the lines from raw brass to coated with 964.

    Am I wrong?

Black lines certainly go back to '73.

Can't recall if '72 this early in the morning but I'm leaning toward a "yes".

I had doubts on my knowledge (Eckert and Freisinger told me so on the 964 change).
Checked my parts and saw black MY70 lines (might be of age or a underbody spray) and also the books 72 S / 73 RS show black lines (might be for the advertisement, only)

So if you say 73 was black, 72 might be also.

All lines are black painted brass, can't say I've particularly checked 964 lines, but believe them to be the same, can't imagine why they would be different.

Porsche ones didīt fit and had to been bend slightly or had scratches, when arrived.
So I finally bought unpainted ones and we bend it to fit exactly.

Searched the forum for pictures of 72ī911s oil lines routing for 2-3 hours, but didn'tīt found good ones.

The hose that connects the tank and the return line looks too short.

Pictures or length of the 9112070300 would help a lot.

    Thanks Dirk

There was an NOS one posted within the last couple of weeks, cant remember if it was bird, samba, here or ebay.
not sure but I think the original clamps down on bare brass - not threaded to the brass line?
