FS: vintage Recaro RSH bucket seats - early 1970s

Early 1970s vintage Recaro RSH seats for sale. No sliders available, but a user named "recaro" stated he has a set for sale.

These seats were included with the purchase of a Carrera RS from KlubSport in 1998, they were never installed in the car as it was used for track events with race buckets. The seats have been in storage since 1998. They appear to be recovered, although they do have clear push rivets that are painted black. One seat is hinged with thumbscrews, the other is not per the original RSH requirements.

Covers in great shape except for one seam is torn under the headrest, and could be restiched; there is light spiderwebbing of hte gelcoat, the thumbscrews have a light patina, and there are light scuffs etc that would be expected of 44 year old seats. Foam is in great condition. One of the cables that tension fabric around the solid seat popped out of the hook hole, but that can be set back into place without much trouble.

    $6,000 OBO.

Seats are located in Pittsburgh, PA until September 14, 2017. They will then be moved to western Wyoming along the I-70 corridor to Indianapolis and then along the I-80 corridor to Wyoming over the following two or three days. If anyone is roughly along that route and is interested, I can make time to meet up in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Wyoming, and the Colorado front range. Otherwise, they will be shipping from Lander, Wyoming.

My phone is 307-438 two four three zero. Text is better than calling to arrange a time for a conversation.

Please PM if interested. Thanks for looking.20170907_114024.jpg20170907_114041.jpg20170907_114052.jpg20170907_114057.jpg20170907_114407.jpg20170907_114700.jpg

UAI - based on this, do you believe these are not RS Homologation seats, and also not original Recaro Seats? What do you think is a fair price for these seats, if they are not original RS Homologation, and not original Recaro?

Other Recaro bucket seats on German eBay are offered for €1250,- -€1500,-and they hardly sell at that price..Here a couple examples to get a price idea. Note that the condition of most of them are not very good...
