Thread: FS: Behr front fender oil cooler 69/71S

FS: Behr front fender oil cooler 69/71S

For sale a Behr front fender oil cooler for models 1969-1971S. This oil cooler is professionally repaired and definitely leakfree.

    Windings are in perfect condition.
A small piece of the single mounting bracket is gone as you can see on the second pic but this has no influence on the working of the cooler of course.

I have decided to let it go because I keep my trombone front cooler. These coolers don't come up for sale often.

    $775

    Any questions please ask.

    Best regards,

    Jan

    Jan,

That's pretty hideous; are you positive it pressure tests ok?

    Yes Frank,

I will refund the money if it is not.

    Thanks,

    EZ-PZ Peter.

Just like we do with all coolers.
Rig up a "loop" that attaches to both fittings with a schrader valve and pressure gauge. Pump in 120psi of air pressure, place in a bucket of water, go drink a beer, and come back to see if the pressure has gone down and if there are any bubbles coming from the cooler.

BTW: These coolers are very difficult to repair if the leak is in the core. Not even Pacific Oil Coolers will fix those... contrary to what I've read from hopeful sellers here.

Cooler is guaranteed leakfree. Tested till 100psi.

    $975 ex shipping.

Will refund the amount if it's not but it is.
