Thread: Aluminium engine case studs (Flywheel end).

Aluminium engine case studs (Flywheel end).

Can anyone help me regarding studs on an 1967, 911 Aluminium case?
I need a pair of engine case bearing studs that screw through the 2 dowel sleeves which are located at the flywheel end of the case.
I think the studs are M10 at both ends and are a different length from the other 24 case studs.
    Kind regards,
    Jim.

I think these are the same studs used on the Mag cases. M10X40 (999-062-090-02) and M10X50 (999-062-039-02).

I can pull these off one of my junk Mag cases for you.

    PM me for details

    Tom,
The M10 studs I am looking for are approximately 180mm long and are fitted at the flywheel end of the case through the the 2 dowel locating sleeves.
These are the only 2 of that size used on the aluminium case. I don't think they are the same size on magnesium cases but I could be wrong.

    Regards,
    Jim.
