    Wiper arms swb

    Hi guys,

Is there a difference between the position of the wiper arms (left or right) of a swb and a later model?

Is this caused by a different wipermotor?

    Thanks.

IMHO MY 67 and earlier resting position was right. From MY 68 onwards (last SWB year) position was left. I don't think it has anything to to with the wiper motor, I have seen instructions somewhere how to change the resting position without replacing the motor.

ye 68 SWB was the only year with the wipers parked in front of the driver, just like on a 356. Rumor has it they moved them back because people complained it took too long to reach the drivers view when parked on the other side.
