    Porsche to P O R S C H E

    transition from one pice Porsche letters to separate letters
    66 to 67
    in the beginning of July ?
    The first Targa that i know of with 67 letters was made 25july-66
    I may be wrong, but it would be interesting to know.

    Johnson writes the 66/67 script change occured at chassis 305 101 (for 911 models) and chassis 354 971 (for 912 models)

    Yes that's true but the change over.
    Development Of the first try outs.
    Targa 500001 whit the round badge is one
    example.
    Even on my car delivered to versuch 7july-66 there was only 911 numbers.
    Do we have more example.
