    Euro interior specialists

    Hi,

I am looking for a euro source to do the interior on my December '65 coupe. I have experience with 356 interiors and have been disappointed by the authenticity of the interiors provided by all the big name shops. Seats get overstuffed, lose their subtle curves and the leather and vinyls used are nowhere close to the originals.

Is there a preferred shop in Europe who does authentic interiors using original materials? Also, does anybody out there have a source for the correct grain black vinyl?

    Any help is greatly appreciated

    JK

I think people on the DDK forum in the U.K. have good things to say about Garry at Classic FX and his work.

    Nice 330 seat Uli .

Did he just replace the corduroy centres or did he do the French hand stitching on the vinyl. ? That sets apart the men from the boys.

    He did neither,

the vinyl is still original, but the corduroy was (poorly) replaced. So we did a bit of a non-cosmetic makeup and did some work to the foam, did reuse the corduroy but did mount it better this time.
It is now in a pretty famous car.
