FS: Early Mushroom Shift Knob W/Dimple

Excellent condition for '65 911 and I think later 356's. This one has the threads inside for screw-on attachment. Price is $150 shipped in the USA.

FYI that's the same type as the one on my mid-year '66 coupe...

You're ignorant! Since no shift pattern it works for both. Did you remove your last post or did the mods?

It could be better described as a late 356 knob that was used in early 911s and 912s

As above, 304598, with a 5-speed gearbox, came from the factory with one in May 1966...

Agree this is correct for 65/66. Curious what was correct for 67S?
Same or 901 with shift pattern?

Dont hang me man. One of those cool skull shift knobs would work just as well as anything but thats not really pertinent to this discussion. Ignorant??????????????????????????????? Ive been restoring 356 and 911 since the mid 70s, have a large parts collection and will ignore your future requests if thats how you show your appreciation. And to all a good night........
Go to bed. Thanks for the rusty rings! Commenting on "for sale" threads with mis-information is bad form. Here is one of many threads you should read: http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...=mushroom+knob

I stand by my comments, the rings were not rusty and fine enough for you to thank me for going out of my way to find them and get them to you so fast after you got them. You have Pd me off so I might be up all night, again....
