    911R oil tank

Been looking at putting a ‘72 oil tank in my ‘71 911R replica. Then I had my metal guy look into making me one out of aluminum.
So I’ve searched and searched but couldn’t find the actual dimensions for the 911R tank. And the size of the fittings.
I think I can get him to make great quality ones under $1000. Just need the specifications.

Thanks. Yes I saw those tanks. Beautiful. Good info on the size of bungs. I have a 72 tank that I could just copy. But an extra liter of two seems smart.

Another possible option maybe a sportomatic oil tank because I think they hold a litre or two more that the standard tanks. That was done because the engine oil was shared with the sporto transmission. Chris

I'm not sure if it is practical but i recall reading about some using a 964 tank on their R conversion.
