Help - Routing of Fuel Vent Hose to Engine Compartment '70E

I am in the process of installing the fuel vapor vent hoses from the center tunnel to the engine compartment on my '70E project. Where do the hoses pass into the engine compartment and what route should they take? Based on photos I have seen, I think I am correct up to the first attachment point in the seat pan area. Are the hoses supposed to pass into the engine compartment in the LHS corner like in the photo? Or should they pass between the cross member and the firewall more near the center of the engine compartment?

I did some more searching and I think I see the vent hoses passing above the heater valve/heat exchanger hose in Dave Conklin's photo of the benchmark '70S

That's a mirror image because fuel lines are on the left side of the car.

Don't know about the rubber lines. Perhaps from the airbox.

I have the fuel supply and return lines sorted. My question is regarding the fuel vapor vent lines that lead from the engine shroud and air box to the center tunnel, through the tunnel and onto the charcoal canister in the luggage compartment.

The routing may be unique to the '70 model year as the fuel pump was located up front near the cross member for that year.

Do all the fuel lines first. It looks like your vapor lines are where fuel lines go.

I did a trial fit and think this is the correct routing for the fuel vapor lines, as well as the fuel inlet and return lines for a '71 MFI car.

Can anyone confirm...Especially the routing of the fuel vapor lines over top of the flapper and through the cross member-to-firewall gap in the LHS corner?

That seems to match up with my 71 T. It does look like you're missing the steel fuel feed line that goes thru the frame rail.

    Ed

Which one is that? Do you mean the steel lines that run through the tunnel? I have the fuel feed and return lines and both fuel vapor lines from the engine compartment through to the front. Is there a 5th line running into the engine compartment?
