    Fog light and Defroster wires

I'm going crazy trying to figure out the wiring that isn't correct at the back of mt Fog light switch and defroster switch. Photo one shows the rear of the two switches - Defrost on top (green jumper), Photo 2 is a close up of the fog switch (red jumper) and photo 3 the wires not connected. Any help with connections would be appreciated.

Defrost has a Green jumper, a double black, a brown and a red with blk strip. It has two spades without wires

The Fog has a red jumper and a black wire . It also has two spades without wires

    Here's a start: http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...h+illumination

Since you state your defroster switch is two-stage, bench test it to determine which terminal is activated by the first pull and which by the second.

Pretty sure the proper original switch has the same numbers that the wiring diagram indicates. Maybe post a pic of your switch.

The wiring diagram that you posted in #15 showed a 2-stage (controls both front fog lights + rear fog lights) switch 914.613.451.10 = 911.613.027.00.

The NOS switch that you bought in post #26 is a 1-stage (controls only front fog lights) 901.613.503.20.

Here are the factory wire connections for your NOS switch being used to control front fog lights in a SWB car:
