    This is the diagram from a paper copy of the factory parts book of 72/3. Contrary to the comment the line drawing used if representative shows the light coloured top cover did have the pegs and corresponding holes in the battery — as was illustrated back in the day. Also shows the second black cover for the +ve terminal
