    Gas Filler Protective Flap

    Anyone know who is making a correct protective flap that goes around the filler neck. All the after market ones I have seen are crap, if they made one closer to original they could charge 3-4 times as much and they would sell out. Also if no good supplier is anyone making there own and can tell us the material they are using. Thanks!

    Yes, that is just a thin piece of textured rubber, sort of the same material that is used for the jar top grippers!

    I made my own. It is a little thicker- In NJ it is unlawful to operate the gas pump so a little cushion for those times a savage is involved is better.
