Stephan from Carpoint responded in 12 hours. I have emailed him about getting one sent here to the States. We'll see . . .

Last one I got from Carpoint I was promised it was checked for defects prior to despatch, which may have been so, but they failed to disclose that it still had one.!!!

Better than the 5 defects of my original though

    Hi, Clyde -

Geez, that's not a great report. I find it confounding that no one *reliable* makes a dash for our cars!

Still looking for a Carpoint/Lakewell speaker grill, new.

    Clyde -

When I called Porsche, they said they couldn't get one! I would love to find out if they are sourcing them from Carpoint. We could all use some pictures when you get it. Is that "a couple of weeks" reasonably hard and fast commitment for delivery?

    Hi Rob

I recently installed this Porsche dash on my '70E project. I was very happy with the overall quality. No defects that I could find. I think the hole pattern in the speaker grill may not be 100% correct and the grain may not be right for a '70 car. But the fit and finish were really nice.
