    Individual Throttle Body options?

    I have a 1969 911T.

    It is being restored.

Would like more power. Adding S heads, custom cam profile, larger pistons.

What ITB options are out there and what would be the pros and cons?

Well... there's this (FYI...I have zero personal knowledge of this other than that it exists)...

He does kits with Triumph or TWM/Borla TBs.

You already have ITB's. You won't find much if any power by switching to different ITB's, such as a computer-controlled EFI system. The big upside with ITB's is the ability to run hotter cams, but you have that option with the Webers you already have.

The downsides are cost and originality.

Using Webers will work well and you will almost certainly allow much more power to be produced.

If you optimise the ignition advance curve and set the carbs up carefully the results should be quite good.

An EFI system will be quite costly but should provide an improvement in performance/behaviour over most of the operating range.

An EFI system should be easy to set up and offer good drivability and horsepower.

They should be good in traffic and deal with changes in ambient temperature.

We are in the process of developing our own system which has a ‘retro’ appearance.

It has been designed to work with ‘our’ 911R replica intake manifolds – but could work with standard manifolds.

The ITBs work with standard throttle linkages and Rain Hats and uses flexible fuel hoses similar to those fitted on RSR High Butterflies.

We are developing a complete ‘bolt-on’ system with crank sensor, fuel pump, pressure regulator, pulley + trigger wheel, management system, loom, and all hoses, linkages and air filters.

I just bought a set of PMO ITB’s.
It will be a while before I have time to install them.
Been running Bitz kit EFI for 5 years now. Love the reliability of EFI.
The PMO’s will be a really nice upgrade in performance and of course looks.

I'm happy with the PMO ITB's. Properly setup, EFI is fantastic! Take the advice above and call Al.
