    This highly original 911 Carrera RS, #479, was specified as a 472 model that is part of the 1st series. Delivered new to Germany on January 1st 1973 the first owner would immediately import the car to Italy where the Carrera RS would stay until 1997. After 24 years, the vehicle was bought and shipped to Germany where it spent over 2 decades until it was imported back to Italy in 2019.

    Prior to its arrival here at Canepa this RS underwent a major service by Porsche in Padua, Italy in August 2021 . The engine was completely rebuilt.

    In October 2021, the vehicle was officially appraised in Italy by the Studio Tecnico Di Infortunistica where after looking over every facet of the car as well the history of the RS, they deemed this specific ’73 Carrera RS to be exemplary. With an interior and exterior in prestine condition and all other components showing meticulous care, the appraiser dared to call this the definition of a masterpiece.
