got a picture of the actual seats? That part number is for a contact switch. I'm guessing for the seat belt. a better picture of the seat will tell all though.

    John,

It would be nice to see a pic of the rest of the seat...
However, yours looks very similar to the bottom of my original (recovered) '73 sport seats...this is my passenger seat just before I had it re-webbed....

The sensor was used in the US models from 1.1.72 on. same number for Sports and comfort seats.

In comfort seats they were mounted directly under the seat cover.

Following your pictures it wasn´t for the sports seats.

    Fun as in weird?

OP, you're asking this community for lots of help the past few days with multiple posts. If you really want engagement how about some pics that actually show what you've got?

Engine, exterior, interior would be a good starting point.

Yes that is where I have found it on all sports seats I have bought from the USA and was indeed for the seat belt warning system

Hooks into a wiring loom that runs around the tilt and slide part of the frame and connects into this

    I'd say that's a great start.
Unwind the 80's from it and you'll have something.

How about pics of the seats?
