    Interior question

How do I remove the cover over the seatbelt mount. I need to remove it. Also the plastic hanger piece.

Just slide the plastic cover up a little and pull the top outward, then slide it down the belt to expose the mounting bolt.

That's not possible if the bolt retaining plastic is not broken as it locks the plastic behind the bolt. Most are broken though.
You will need to gather up some material to pull it out of the back opening. Slide a flat ring spanner in there from the bottom and undo. One of the hardest quiz questions on a 911...!

    Ring Spanner? And what size?

This car is a 1969 53,000 mile car going back to Ultra Blue. It was poorly repainted Tan (Beige).

The bolt head going into the B pillar is a 17mm. Stretch I have fought this issue several times and your answer is great information, pull some belt threw the back of the plastic cover and that will give you the access to the bolt head.
