    Dip Stick question

I have two dip sticks. Trying to find out what 911s they go to. Anyone know the difference?

    Thanks,

    John

The top one just has one small divet and the shorter one has a "Max" with a line.

No on the part numbers. The longer one has silver plating and the shorter one has yellow plating.

Does anyone know the overall length of a original 66' or 67'?

Here are the dip sticks from my 65 and 67 ...on my 65 where the filler is out of tank as part of my resto, the dipstick ends (is flush with) the end of the filler guide tube.

Here are 3 more. Based on the handle loop yours are early, 901/911. My short 2 are for 73 only, the 2 longer ones are later, 74 to SC etc. the silver one is 930 107 731 01. Note shape of the loops. Note different fill marks on the longer ones, 930 one has lower max mark. Gordon

I'm thinking my long one I have may be for a 914/6. Thanks, Gordon! I'll take it over to where my 914 is stored and check.

    Thanks,
    John

I would expect the 914-6 to have the early loop as well
