    Sunroof wiring route

Could not find a thread on this so thought I would pose the question.

Does the wiring for the sunroof go up through the "A" pillar on the drivers side? The layout of the wiring loom for the sunroof appears to indicate it should go up through the drivers side "A" pillar, but thought I would double check with the experts.

If this is the case, does anyone have any helpful hints how to fish this wire up through the "A" pillar.....played around with a coat hanger and could get about 3/4 of the way coming from the trunk and about 3/4 of the way coming from the roof, but never got the coat hanger to pop all the way through.

    Thx...DM

    yep through a-pillar (driver side)
i know it can be a PITA to insert the cable but with a bit of patience .....try a 1mm welding rod and bend the end +180degr

usually when pulling out the dome light or sunroof cable i attache a welding wire and pull it inside the pillar.....
btw there is two cannels in the pillar

Need clarification, I thought dome lights and sunroof went up passenger side A pillar.

I don't think the sunroof wire loom in my car is long enough to go across the dash and then up the passenger side "A" pillar....The sunroof switch is just under the gauge cluster on the driver side....which is what led me to believe the wire(s) went up the drivers side "A" pillar.
