    green glass tint

    Hi all
    My glass is all clear on my 1966 912 and I need to add UV protective tint to all the glass. Does anyone know a source for green window tint film? Like the original coke bottle green? All I can find is a smokey grey window tint and I don't want that.

    Thank you Stephen. Thanks Peter.... I ordered that film and it is EMERALD - like really really green. Looking for something that looks more like the original tint...I have checked with several tinting shops to no avail, but I am not exactly in the mecca of custom car cities.

    In reality, the original tint is very light and often mistaken for clear glass. If you are looking for something close to the original tint, I would say Why bother?

    I believe you can buy UV protective film in "clear" that way everything will still appear correct.

    Hi Jim, I have a medical condition that does not allow me to have any UV exposure - for practical purposes pretend I am a vampire. LOL

    Hi Chris, I hadn't thought of clear film. I will check it out but prefer the coke bottle look, really nothing at all "correct" about my car .
