    Nudge bar / Tow hook

I have what I believe to be an original nudge bar
    (experts please chime in here)
See pictures for a non-flowery description.
To be concours ready I'd restore it.
    $500.00?

One of the optical nicest options IMHO but how does it mount on the rear bumperettes> Do you need a special version of those?

    Kind regards,

    Cees

The rear bumperettes are the same(except for the fact that a hole would need to be drilled in them to attach the bar), but if you want the black rubbers on the bumperettes they are shorter than the standard rubbers. In addition to that there is also a round rubber seal on each side that goes in-between the bar and the bumperette where the hole is drilled when you attach the bar to the bumperette. The factory called it RAM Protection, do a nerf bar search and you'll see pictures with the rubbers and without.

The grommets to mount the nudge bar are the same as the 356A overrider bar.
    They are easily obtainable.

If you need the rear black rubber pieces they are the shorter ones used on the front not a special order.

Thanks all for the info, so it seems not too difficult to get it mounted. Are the end threaded, must be I think but hard to see in the pics. Not easy though to get the dent out and get it properly re-chromed.

    Kind regards,

    Cees

Is it possible to restore this bar, I don't see how you can get that deep ding out?
