Brackets between engine case and cross mount

    Hey guys,

We're trying to determine whether the brackets which go between the third piece of the engine case and the cross mount of the engine are suppose to be symmetrical or not. We noticed a clear size difference between the two once the engine was out.

Has anyone seen these before and if so, did they line up a bit better for you?

    Thanks,
    Kyle

    No pics.

Maybe I'm delusional but I consider myself somewhat imaginative and experienced with these cars but for the life of me have NO IDEA what the OP is talking about.

    I have questions:

    Who is "We're"?
    What are the brackets?
    "Third piece"?
    What year is the car?
Is it a 912? cuz that would make sense.

    Hunnerd bucks says it's a 912...

If so, if the brackets were bolted in place and everything "fit" why do you care if they're not identical? Just curious.
