    HELP PLEASE -Targa Glass Install

    Hello

I will be installing my Targa glass tomorrow with the help of my local glass installers. Hopefully somebody has just went thru this job and can offer some advise. Rubber is from Porsche Dealer, Trim goes in first. Reading thru some threads on Early S I see that it is advised to use two ropes to pull the seal into place.

I appreciate any advice or what not to do.

    Thank-you

    Targa glass installed !!!

Although I did not get anybody to give me any tips I had done this 20+ years ago and looked at the factory workshop manual, which was very little help. I am very happy with the end result, although if I pulled it out to do it over there is one thing I would correct. Overall I will give this install a solid 9 out of 10 - more than good enough for this 3-owner 1970 911 T Silver Targa with 98,299 original miles.
