    MFI Adjustment Question

My newly rebuild engine acts like it is fuel starved above about 4 or 5K RPM's (loss of power, missing). When the engine is not completely warmed up it almost runs fine, but when fully warmed out, it is very noticeable.
It is a '73 S build to 2.7L specs. The pump was rebuild by Robert Fairchild and has the S cam but not the RS cam. It otherwise starts, runs and idles fine. Can this be fixed with a simple adjustment or will the pump need to come off?

Please review "Check-Measure-Adjust" here for starters...

There are a hundred possibilities starting with simple linkage adjustments to Cam and pump timing, where would you like to start?

Great. That's what I was afraid of. I will let the experts sort it out.
    Thanks.
