    FS: early 901/0 gearbox

A customer has had this in his garage for years and asked me to get rid of it. I have no idea why it was pulled. I can make no guarantees as to the usability of it. It has mismatched output flanges which we used to see many years ago when one let go and the easiest replacement was a newer version. I partially dissembled it to get some photos and gear ratios. The date stamp is 39/64. There were very small bits of roller bearing loose in the case. I believe they're part of the bearing for 1st/reverse. All the gears appear decent with no pitting but the ring gear does have some pitting. The pics speak for themselves. I can either reassemble it for ease of shipping or leave it as is for whoever wants it. The PN is clearly marked as 901/0 and the serial number is 100886. R+P is 7:31 and gear ratios are what I believe to be stock for these gearboxes: AA,GA,O,U,Y

I don't even know what price to ask for it. Its probably worth a significant sum to the right person and hardly anything to everyone else. However I have it when sellers don't post a price.

    $2000 OBO

You can call me at the shop 510-420-1262 during business hours PST next week or post here and I am willing to answer any questions anyone has.
