    Coating fan and alternator ring?

Mark does a great job, but unfortunately he is out 6-8 weeks on delivery for his fine work. Our client does not want to wait that long. Did searches here on what can substitute the Dow D7 treatment as painting or powder coating is not the direction we want to take.

Can anyone point me to the right thread, or better yet the process that makes a good substitute and lasts? We already have the parts cleaned, centers plated, so its just the magnesium bits we are concerned with

    thanks !

Hi Dave, it you want to send it to me I can plate it for you and rivet the centre in. I have done loads. We also make new centres. It’s not a service we offer but it it helps you. Should be able to do it in a few days.
