    FS: 1967 911 Aga Blue

    • REMOVED FROM SALE *****
    1967 911 Normal #308080
    • Purchased in March 2005 from Arizona as dry, straight, virtually rust free original car with about 70K miles
    • Numbers matching engine, transmission and rare aga blue color per CoA
    • Underwent 5-year, bare metal, nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration
    • Only front sheet metal pan was replaced
    • Full engine rebuild – no internal signs of abuse or excessive wear: new rod & main bearings, rings, tensioners, chains and guides, refreshed heads, rebuilt alternator, etc.; no leaks
    • Transmission rebuilt from original 4-speed to 5-speed
    • Rebuilt Webers to original jetting, all engine sheet metal painted
    • Starts right up with refreshed original ignition
    • New suspension and brakes; single system brakes updated to dual circuit; dual reservoir mounted in same smugger box location; new master cylinder, hoses and rebuilt calipers.
    • Believe car came with vented disks as original – in any case, they are on the car as would be on 67S and from 68 onwards.
    • Interior refinished with correct headliner and vinyl including dash and new carpet (rear seat lowers are original and could use refinishing, rear seat backs also original but in excellent condition)
    • Year correct additions to CoA include wood steering wheel, S gauges, 4.5 Fuchs including spare, dual headrests, fog lights, and black/white wool houndstooth seat inserts
    • First place winner local PCA (Connecticut) People’s Choice Concours
    • Drives like new. Includes complete tool kit, drivers manual and jack.
    • Stored in climate-controlled facility, driven less than 1,000 miles per year since restoration completed in 2010.
    • Glasurit paint finish best described as high-end driver quality with some blemishes (paint has been on car seven years now with no touch ups to date).
    • Items that you may want to address include powder coated fan/housing, interior lights not hooked up, heat exchangers shrouds have some perforations (internal exhaust pipes are solid)
    • Reason for selling: adding 63 Corvette coupe to otherwise all-Porsche collection including three other O-series 911s (65-66)
    • Serious inquiries only please
    • Car located in Chester Connecticut for inspections
