    Very pretty but a buyer might want to consider period history rather than celebrity history. Alex Elliott told me he thinks there are maybe two dozen original racing CSLs left, and a good one can be had for half the price of an RSR.

    I saw that also. I’m curious to know how one tells the difference between an M88 and an S38 other than possibly the valve cover. True it is not “An M88 with K-fish”, but it could be an M88. It is clearly running weber 45 DCOe’s. Perhaps not the latest and greatest for the mid 70’s but still period correct. One could easily tack on another $50K to get the right motor in there (if you can find one).
