    Looking for info on 911 trans am racer

    Hi all
    Hoping to find out info and pics on the green trans am car below. Does anyone know the car and or have other pictures by any chance?

    "Triangle" often refers to the Raleigh and surrounding areas of North Carolina.

    do you have a drivers name to go with either of those photos? Sometimes it is much easier to search for a driver name than a car and then see what cars turn up

    I looked in my photos and dont have any photos of that car

    answered my own question
    searched with the photo for images and got this http://www.virhistory.com/vir/72-oct/rg-7204-1.htm

    VIR October 1972 SCCA race Driver Jim Glanton. He won the VIR 200 challenge (by 3 laps) and the results show his region as NE

    and here is another one at the April 1974 VIR national SCCA championship where he was 5th (1st in BSR)

    he also seemed to be in that car at the 1972 IMSA Camel 200 at Lime rock on 29 May 1972 with Bill Schmid where they placed 8th (7th in class) in GTU and no doubt in other races if you search under Jim Glanton Porsche
