WTB: 72-73 Tan / Cinnamon ORIGINAL seat covers

    Guys,

I am looking for original seat covers for my 1973 911E. Car has an original interior but the seats are iffy. I would like to keep it original to keep the overall look the same. Please let me know if you have any part of the seat covers for 72 or 73 in cinnamon / tan in original material without holes or tears and crazy discoloring. Im posting what I currently am working it. They are about to head to Autobahn for new foam, hardware restoration, and hopefully new covers. Please email at avantwe@gmail.com or PM if you have something. Thank you everyone!

I’m sure I have some NOS headrests in that colour (and a complete NOS brown carpet set) but no seats or covers.
Let me know if anything would help and I’ll try and get photos.

Here we go again. Cinnamon for 72/73 model year is not brown. Brown is brown. The material named cinnamon by Porsche is the tan, definitely lighter than brown. Actually it can easily be recognized on close up inspection of nos or protected pieces. It is two toned, not monochromatic like earlier beige and tan examples. It has a tan background with darker redish brown swirls. Looks remarkably like a stick of cinnamon.

I have some nos pleated centers. Bottoms and seatbacks. Just the centers not the bolster areas. But I also have many pieces, some large, that may be enough to redo the entire seating surfaces and sides, not the backs. This stuff is the real deal and perhaps the most difficult interior material to find. I have a cinnamon interior in a 73S and was fortunate enough to get this nos stuff some years ago to splice in here and there. I also have a set of seats redone by Autobahn featuring this material but the seat centers are tan madras. That's why I have the pleated centers left over. If interested in any of this PM.

    Ok. I understand.

Always thought tan is beige. Never seen in a sales brochure cinnamon.

If you take a closer look of un unfaded piece of leather, it looks like cinnamon.
