    Soft window removal and refitting

Can anyone point me to instructions on how to remove the soft window. The zipper is broken and I need to change it out.

Also, I see here what looks to be a replacement zipper -- but the top doesn't look like that (ie. separate piece #19)... or is that the zipper itself that you stitch into the window vinyl? http://dcautocatalog.com/illustration/index/144394203

    Thanks! Greg

I think you are going to have to remove the two bows at the hinge point (DS & PS) as well as the 3 points on the rear securing the rear/ lower bow. and either take the entire assy to the person sewing it in or remove the bows from the window and just take the vinyl to them, may depend on how stiff the material is around the bows and or if the bow joints (at about half way inside the bows) want to come apart, may be rusted.

    Good luck
